Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain relationships with debt clients and prospects.
  • •Own due diligence processes for new and existing debt opportunities.
  • •Shape deal structures and underwriting materials, including negotiation of commercial and credit terms alongside legal counsel.
  • •Establish portfolio management processes with timely performance reviews for senior credit approvers and manage proactive portfolio activity to support credit quality and profitability targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive debt underwriting experience across healthcare, life sciences, and technology companies, ideally from a venture debt lender or fund environment.

  • •Experience assessing credit risks across portfolios, including covenant compliance, rating changes, and ongoing financial performance.
  • •Strong understanding of start-up and VC ecosystems to inform credit decisioning based on technology trends.
