Job Summary

Join Operations Engineering to support internal systems that power an enterprise insurance platform. You’ll triage and debug customer-impacting production incidents, perform impact analysis, improve reliability through RCAs, and participate in on-call rotations. Build backend tools, services, dashboards, monitoring frameworks, and alerting to reduce MTTD/MTTR, while collaborating with Support, Product, and Engineering to improve operational workflows at scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Triage and debug customer-impacting production incidents, identify root causes, and drive fixes to resolution with follow-ups and prevention.
•Lead or participate in RCAs and post-incident reviews; document incident timelines and implement corrective/preventative actions.
•Participate in on-call rotations to improve system reliability and operational response.
•Collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering to understand business pain points and improve product and operational workflows.
•Develop backend tools/services and internal dashboards/monitoring/alerting to support operational workflows and reduce MTTD/MTTR.

Salary: USD 78,800 - 131,300 annually

Key Requirements

•Demonstrated experience debugging production systems using logs/metrics/traces to isolate root cause and implement durable fixes.
•Experience participating in an on-call rotation with calm prioritization and clear communication during incident triage.
•3+ years of backend software development using Node.js.
•Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch).
•Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, plus building internal tools/automation and operational dashboards.
