Key Responsibilities

  • •Functional management of static equipment maintenance activities within the assigned area, implementing quality work plans for corrective, routine, and preventive maintenance.
  • •Control and monitor static maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and availability.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain refinery static equipment and systems (vessels, columns, fired heaters, heat exchangers), resolving technical problems and preparing maintenance procedures.
  • •Develop and implement maintenance strategies and execute/optimize corrective, preventive, and predicative maintenance programmes; conduct equipment failures investigation and root cause analysis.
  • •Manage maintenance personnel and contractors, oversee shutdown planned work, supervise maintenance work and preventive programmes, and review yearly static budget with monthly status reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate in mechanical engineering from a recognized college or university.
  • •Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in a refinery/petrochemical environment covering maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of static equipment.
  • •Computer literate with experience in computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo).
  • •Knowledge of industry standards and codes, including thorough familiarity with refining safe working procedures.
  • •Proficient in written and spoken English.
