Job Summary

Manage a portfolio of complex, stressed banking relationships as part of the coverage team. Review updated financial statements, proactively monitor loan performance, collateral, maturities, and compliance/defaults, and prepare underwriting approval memos for renewals, term changes, and forbearance agreements. Support loan bookings and documentation, mentor junior team members, conduct risk-focused analysis (e.g., leverage, liquidity, cash flows), and assist Workout Officers in reviews and closings.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a portfolio of stressed banking relationships, supporting Special Assets Director, team leaders, and/or Workout Officers.
•Review financial statements and prepare underwriting/approval memos for renewals, changes in terms, and forbearance agreements.
•Monitor loan payments, past due status, collateral monitoring/inspections, maturities, and covenant and regulatory ratings updates.
•Support loan closings and ensure loan bookings are prepared, documented, and forwarded to the fulfillment center correctly on the AFS system.
•Mentor Credit Analysts and junior portfolio managers, and assist with due diligence and required ALSR/forms and meeting preparation.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 82,100 - 172,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics (or equivalent experience).
•Minimum 6 years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience in the banking industry (or relevant experience).
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for financial and risk analysis.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with clients and internal partners.
•Proficiency with software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel (familiarity with internal bank applications is a plus).
