Key Responsibilities

•Lead Platform Engineering performance and outcomes, ensuring delivery is predictable, communication is proactive, systems are well-architected, and operational standards are upheld.
•Drive infrastructure readiness using AI-assisted approaches to reduce toil, improve reliability, and support platform decision-making, including evolving architecture for multi-region deployments.
•Own observability and operational excellence by extending monitoring, alerting, and observability across services, and improving detection/triage/automation to reduce manual effort.
•Scope, prioritise, and deliver platform initiatives with clear outcomes and accountability, partnering across Product, Engineering, and Security.
•Lead people and talent growth by setting achievable goals, coaching engineers, fostering continuous learning, and owning onboarding and team health.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience as an engineering leader delivering high-impact outcomes across platform, infrastructure, or reliability teams.
•Hands-on experience using automation and AI/LLM-based tools to improve observability, incident response, and reduce operational toil.
•Strong technical background across infrastructure, cloud platforms, and distributed systems, including DevOps and SRE principles.
•Experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront) or equivalent platforms on GCP or Azure.
•Hands-on programming/automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash, using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to build repeatable systems.
