Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide operationally capable aircraft support for KFAA pilot training programmes by performing flight line servicing, scheduled servicing, fault troubleshooting/rectification, and inspections/evaluations at the AMT specialty level.
  • •Provide technical specialty support for evaluation and interpretation of maintenance faults and corrective actions, including assessing performance/operational status of aircraft systems/components and associated testing.
  • •Achieve and maintain Production Inspections signatory capability for authorised trade certifications and obtain/maintain relevant certifications for speciality and aircraft maintenance functions.
  • •Acquire user expertise and become conversant with RSAF aircraft data management and tracking system (MIRO Gold).
  • •Understand and comply with the RSAF Safety and Foreign Object Programme, including maintaining required standards during PC21 flight line and intermediate maintenance operations and on-the-job training (OJT).

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a recognised technical qualification at NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level (or equivalent technical apprenticeship/qualification) in a relevant discipline or acceptable to M&CA.
  • •Have extensive practical aircraft maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment (supported by formal recorded workplace-applied training) or experience on the same aircraft type or completion of the BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP).
  • •Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
  • •Apply human factors, error management, health & safety, and proactive hazard analysis appropriate to the role.
  • •Have sound oral and written two-way communication skills and be able to work effectively in a mixed EE/SN workforce; Saudi or Expatriate must obtain and maintain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level.
