Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and enforce safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA, lockout/tagout, and environmental requirements, including audits and incident investigations.
  • •Oversee maintenance and repair of asphalt production facilities and ready-mix concrete plants, including establishing preventive and predictive maintenance programs and minimizing production interruptions.
  • •Drive reliability improvements using maintenance metrics and performance data, lead root-cause analysis for recurring failures, and develop long-term asset management strategies.
  • •Assist with annual maintenance and capital expenditure budgets; manage maintenance spending; identify and oversee capital improvement projects and plant modernization initiatives.
  • •Provide leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance personnel, including recruiting, training, performance expectations, and vendor/contractor management.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience in asphalt, aggregates, ready-mix, heavy manufacturing, or related industries.
  • •Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience leading asphalt, aggregates, ready-mix, or heavy manufacturing maintenance teams.
  • •Demonstrated experience managing multiple facilities and maintenance teams.
  • •Knowledge of asphalt production equipment and ready-mix batching systems, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • •Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and strong budgeting, planning, and project management skills.
