Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a subject matter and business intelligence expert and help drive adoption of self-service analytics capabilities.
  • •Develop analytics solutions, including data models, datasets, reports, and dashboards, while adhering to data governance and BI policies.
  • •Consult with the Data Product Owner on EDW and Data Lake design to improve data quality, accessibility, and reusability.
  • •Establish and monitor adherence to policies and standards for BI products; partner with IT for stability, performance, and upgrade roadmaps.
  • •Leverage SQL and Python to extract and shape data, automate dataset monitoring for completeness and quality, and introduce predictive solutions with embedded BI functions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • •3+ years using data acquisition methods and tools (Tableau Prep, SQL, Python).
  • •3+ years with data visualization and analysis software (Tableau, Excel, Cognos Analytics, Power BI).
  • •3+ years working with relational databases.
  • •Preferred: related utility industry experience, statistical modeling, and/or experience as a data steward with data governance.
