Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, isolate, and debug hardware, firmware, and platform issues using scan dumps, trace tools, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other silicon debug tools.
  • •Perform post-silicon validation and characterization of AMD x86 SoC and platform components.
  • •Collaborate across Design, Architecture, BIOS, Firmware, Validation, and Software teams to root-cause failures and drive corrective actions.
  • •Analyze silicon behavior and correlate results with design specifications, simulations, and pre-silicon models to improve stability and performance.
  • •Develop debug utilities, test scripts, and automation frameworks in Python/Perl; execute regression/stress/validation tests and create debug reports and technical documentation while mentoring junior engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 3,094,700 - 4,421,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in post-silicon validation, platform bring-up, and silicon debug of x86-based systems.
  • •Strong understanding of x86 architecture, system architecture, CPU subsystems, memory hierarchy, and SoC design.
  • •Experience debugging platform I/O subsystems such as PCIe, DDR, USB, and Ethernet.
  • •Deep knowledge of BIOS/UEFI and x86 firmware architecture.
  • •Hands-on silicon debug and lab equipment experience (e.g., logic analyzers and oscilloscopes) plus scripting/automation skills using Python or Perl.
