Key Responsibilities

  • •Spot and pull trailers in and out of dock doors following pull light procedures.
  • •Ensure every trailer has a nose stand and is properly chocked.
  • •Monitor product protection by checking temperatures, fuel levels, and refrigeration unit operation; maintain the integrity of load seals.
  • •Maintain traffic flow for outside drivers on Tyson property and ensure outbound trailers are washed and sanitized.
  • •Perform pre-trip inspections on shag trucks, report defects to the supervisor, and keep shag trucks clean while following PBX Shag procedures and training with safety as the top priority.
