Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive hands-on training and perform duties in every area of the distribution center, including Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
  • •Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures, and performance standards for success in distribution operations.
  • •Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn aspects of the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping business.
  • •Participate in classroom training sessions covering operations, financials, leadership, human capital management, and operating systems at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
  • •Provide comprehensive presentations to senior-level management to complete the 6-month Operations MIT program and complete special projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations, or related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • •Work experience in a leadership and/or problem-solving role; or relevant involvement through distribution/supply chain internships, organizations/clubs, volunteer/community service, athletics, or military leadership.
  • •Ability and desire to work in a distribution warehouse environment.
  • •Ability to relocate during and after the program for career development opportunities (at company expense).
  • •Ability to travel 25% of the time and lift up to 75 pounds while maneuvering heavy machinery (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.).
