Key Responsibilities

  • •Own mobile development tooling, including simulator/emulator setup architecture and roadmap, device orchestration, and CLI tooling for iOS and Android.
  • •Lead and evolve the mobile test automation framework for synthetic and integration testing across platforms.
  • •Set CI/CD quality gating strategy by proactively surfacing quality issues and protecting long-term mobile goals.
  • •Drive alignment across Native Infra, Cross Platform, and DevX to consolidate fragmented mobile workflows into one cohesive system.
  • •Mentor and grow the team; set and publish mobile testing best practices and methodologies and build shared quality signals via triage and monitoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in at least one mobile platform—iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin)—with working knowledge of the other and cross-platform experience.
  • •Hands-on, production-scale experience with React Native or a comparable cross-platform mobile framework.
  • •Experience building or significantly shaping a mobile test automation framework (synthetic, integration, or E2E) with evidence other teams adopted it.
  • •Background defining quality gating strategy and improving CI/CD pipelines, including mobile build systems and device farm integrations.
  • •Track record scoping and delivering complex cross-team technical projects across multiple stakeholders.
