Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform bench work (drilling, honing, tapping, reaming) on production and experimental precision parts.
  • •Assemble precision parts using rivets and bolts with specified tools per engineering requirements.
  • •Plan, lay out, and sequence machining operations; set up, operate, and adjust CNC and machine tools to spec.
  • •Interpret drawings/blueprints and use shop math and precision instruments to verify dimensional and finish requirements.
  • •Troubleshoot and test developmental machine parts with engineering/production groups; maintain safety practices for hazardous materials.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of experience using multiple Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and/or Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) applications (e.g., Mastercam, CATIA V5, Unigraphics).
  • •1+ years of experience programming, setting up, and running lathes, grinders, mills, and CNC machines.
  • •Experience reading G and M codes.
  • •Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
  • •Ability to use computers and knowledge of MSWord, Excel, and Outlook.
