Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise driver fleet for chick delivery and egg pickup; maintain Pilgrim’s Pride and DOT transportation records and review GPS systems.
  • •Supervise egg procurement and manage set/set schedules.
  • •Supervise inovojection process and coordinate transfer crews.
  • •Assist supervision of production and maintenance through production supervisor and maintenance AA partner.
  • •Maintain a safe work environment, conduct safety training/meetings and weekly safety inspections; handle supervisory responsibilities and provide backup support for SAP Buy It/SAP Grow It and timekeeping.

Key Requirements

  • •3 years of hatchery or live production experience and/or 3 years of plant supervisor experience.
  • •Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills and good people skills.
  • •Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • •High school or GED required; college degree preferred; SAP experience and good safety record preferred.
