Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for the development of commercial, environmental, reliability, sustainability, and new technology applications.
  • •Support operations with the application of technologies at operating plants or plants in development.
  • •Perform complex root cause analysis and provide innovative engineering solutions for difficult problems.
  • •Plan and manage long-range programs and third-party resources to meet strategic objectives and enhance commercial availability of new and existing technologies.
  • •Contribute to development and execution of engineering strategies, including economic justification/analysis for projects.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or greater in an Engineering discipline.
  • •Licensed Professional Engineer or additional years of experience requirements.
  • •Recognized as a subject matter expert within Vistra and a technical resource.
  • •Apply knowledge of current and pending regulatory, code, and industry issues to resolve Vistra interests.
  • •Proficient with business/technical evaluation processes and extensive experience in power plant operations/engineering or comparable industries.
