Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct surface water assessments and provide inputs to stormwater infrastructure designs for projects across waste management, mining, renewable energy, and industrial development sectors.
  • •Develop 2D hydraulic models for riverine floodplains, mine sites, and urban developments using TUFLOW and HEC-RAS.
  • •Perform 2D model checks, calibration, and interpret model outputs to support technical decisions.
  • •Prepare flood modelling deliverables including technical memorandums/reports and flood mapping (depth, velocity, risk hazard).
  • •Support project proposals and delivery planning, and perform peer review and coordination with design engineers and peer groups across India and Australia.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5 years of experience in hydraulic and hydrological modelling.
  • •Hands-on practical command of TUFLOW (preferred 2+ years).
  • •Proficiency in additional hydraulic/hydrological modelling software such as HEC-RAS and other listed tools (e.g., XP-SWMM/STORM, DRAINS, RORB, XP-RAFTS, WBMN, AWBM).
  • •Ability to interpret Australian hydrology/hydraulic guidelines (including ARR and climate change).
  • •Fluency in spoken and written English and ability to communicate complex technical matters.
