Join the Southampton Cost Management team as an Associate Project Surveyor, delivering consultancy on capital projects across Southern England. You’ll manage cost management tasks across the full project lifecycle, mentor junior staff, and interface with clients while coordinating a surveyor team within a hybrid, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and deliver cost management services across the full project lifecycle from inception to operation, including cost control and procurement.
•Lead the cost management team outputs, ensuring timely delivery against agreed timescales and quality standards.
•Provide mentoring and development to Senior Cost Managers, Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
•Be the primary interface with clients (new and existing) and develop strong relationships with project teams.
•Ensure staff reporting to you have current training and that commissions are completed efficiently and to client satisfaction.

Key Requirements

•Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
•Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
•Full UK driving license, and a willingness to travel.
•CSCS card holder
•Experience in a consultancy or client organisation providing the full spectrum of Cost Management services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
