Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership to guide strategic customers through successful cloud transformations for large-scale data warehousing workloads from evaluation to production deployment.
  • •Architect production workloads and perform end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and optimization.
  • •Develop technical expertise in a specialization area such as evaluations and workload migration planning, including data warehouse architecture design.
  • •Support advanced pre-sales technical activities like proof-of-concept content, estimating workload sizing and performance, and tuning for production.
  • •Deliver tutorials and training to improve community adoption and contribute to the Databricks Community.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in a technical role with expertise in data warehousing, including query/performance tuning, troubleshooting, governance, and MPP or big data debugging and migration workloads.
  • •Experience designing and implementing data warehousing technologies across relational databases, SQL, data analytics, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP/OLAP.
  • •Deep specialty expertise in scaling large analytical workloads in the cloud and/or maintaining, extending, or migrating production data warehouses with modeling and governance and BI tool integration.
  • •Production programming experience in SQL plus Python, Scala, or Java.
  • •Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP clouds; plus a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
