Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist Lead/Senior Process Engineer in conceptual studies and basic design, providing technical support during the detailed design phase for oil & gas process projects.
  • •Carry out engineering activities such as preparation of heat and material balances and development of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • •Finalize system design parameters and perform necessary calculations; specify equipment and systems (heat exchangers, vessels, pumps, reactors, instruments).
  • •Develop process simulation models for facility design/upgrades and implement advanced controls/process optimization using tools like HYSYS, PIPEFLOW/PIPEPHASE/PIPESIM, and FLARENET.
  • •Prepare design philosophies, operating/commissioning guidelines, and manuals; participate in safety reviews such as HAZOP and SIL.

Key Requirements

  • •Higher technical education (engineering) relevant to process plants (oil & gas, petrochemical, or related fields)
  • •3+ years of work experience in process engineering or a closely related role
  • •Familiarity with process simulation tools (HYSYS, PIPEFLOW, PIPEPHASE, PIPESIM, FLARENET)
  • •Experience in conceptual studies, basic design, and providing technical support during detailed design phases
  • •Ability to develop heat and material balances and detailed design documents (PFDs, P&IDs) and specify equipment such as heat exchangers, vessels, pumps, reactors, and instruments
