Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete property risk control surveys and develop property underwriting reports for a variety of occupancies.
  • •Conduct Nat Cat surveys and populate primary and secondary modeling characteristics for modeling and exposure analysis.
  • •Review available data to determine natural catastrophe exposure at client locations and analyze flood exposure using NIFP and FEMA guidelines.
  • •Assemble COPE data, brokerage submission information, summary documents, and provide broker renewal support.
  • •Support carrier meetings, coordinate vendor RFPs, and develop/review MFL, PML, and NLE estimates to make recommendation review and analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •8–10 years of experience with a Highly Protected Risk insurance carrier or vendor.
  • •Strong technical proficiency applying NFPA and/or FM Global standards and evaluating fire protection systems.
  • •Familiarity with Assembly of Construction, Occupancy, Protection and Exposure (COPE) data and property risk underwriting report preparation.
  • •Ability to independently problem-solve using client standards and best practices to address technical fire protection issues.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience, plus professional certifications (fire protection certification preferred).
