Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and coordinate the activity of workers to ensure that work is done safely, correctly and timely.
  • •Interprets written and/or oral orders, sketches and blueprints to coordinate activities of assigned workers, materials, equipment and tools
  • •Inspects quality of all work to ensure company standards and project specifications are met
  • •Maintains time and tracks production
  • •Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel

Key Requirements

  • •Has worked in the mechanical field for typically seven years, three of which should be as a Journeyman in his/her craft
  • •Have a detailed understanding of construction scheduling
  • •Understand cost control and be able to implement successfully
  • •Follow oral and written directions
  • •Comprehend blueprints, sketches and plans
