Key Responsibilities

  • •Own, lead, and execute creation and implementation of category, sourcing, and supplier strategies for adidas distribution network.
  • •Drive transformation and optimization of procurement processes, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across regions and categories to deliver efficiencies.
  • •As procurement project lead, run tenders and manage CAPEX/OPEX, zero-based budgeting, sourcing, and optimization projects.
  • •Use insights, benchmarking, and strategic sourcing methodologies to identify breakthrough opportunities for cost reduction and continuous improvement.
  • •Design cost governance and spend policies, ensure transparency of spend, and build/coordinate cross-functional networks to define value, spend parameters, and service levels.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree with emphasis on Engineering, Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or Procurement.
  • •At least 10+ years of work experience with 5+ years in Procurement, Consulting, or Logistics roles.
  • •Expert knowledge of Warehousing & Distribution processes and Supply Chain Management with a strong procurement/consulting/industry track record.
  • •Strong sourcing and procurement methodology knowledge, including experience developing and implementing category strategies and managing supplier partnerships.
  • •Fluent English (spoken and written) and strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
