Key Responsibilities

  • •Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills such as scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, and related procedures.
  • •Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
  • •Monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment and help with cleaning and record keeping.
  • •Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed while complying with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Knowledge of general agronomy skills such as scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, and seed (helpful).
  • •Ability to perform agronomy/seed operations.
  • •Agriculture experience or background knowledge helpful; previous internship experience helpful but not required.
