Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute the established strategic business plan to maintain and expand Allianz Trade’s Surety business in the U.S.
  • •Develop and underwrite a profitable surety portfolio through active engagement with existing and new broker relationships in the local market.
  • •Maintain and expand broker relationships, recommending new brokers and marketing Surety capabilities.
  • •Perform account and portfolio underwriting in alignment with Allianz Trade underwriting guidelines and portfolio management requirements.
  • •Document decisions and recommendations consistently and transparently; collaborate with colleagues across the Americas and internationally and attend industry events as requested.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7 years of surety industry experience underwriting and growing a Surety portfolio.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in U.S. surety in the local market.
  • •Proven ability to develop business with brokers and establish/achieve goals with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • •4-year college degree with emphasis in business, economics, or finance.
  • •Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence (including GenAI) and enthusiasm for learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes.
