Key Responsibilities

  • •Own governance, oversight, and performance management of third-party Alternatives service providers against contractual SLAs, KPIs, and client service expectations.
  • •Lead commercial oversight across provider relationships, including pricing, contract performance, service economics, scalability, and strategic partnership management.
  • •Partner with the Head of Global Fund Services (Alternatives) to drive adoption of a global target service model, including operating model implementation and organisational change programmes.
  • •Ensure applicable regulatory obligations are met, including local laws and substance requirements, and proactively support regulatory change impacting the operating model.
  • •Strengthen the control environment by identifying, managing, and reducing operational risks while improving governance efficiency via automation and appropriate offshore processing.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable track record in Asset Management Operations, with desirable experience covering Alternatives (private markets and/or hedge funds).
  • •Strong third-party governance capability overseeing administrators, custodians, transfer agents, AIFMs, and other strategic service partners.
  • •Commercial and contract management expertise, including pricing, negotiation support, and assessing service economics and value for money.
  • •Sound understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory expectations in a UK/EU asset management context, including navigating audits and reviews.
  • •Proven success delivering transformation and operating model change while maintaining high-quality BAU service delivery.
