Key Responsibilities

  • •Accurately document and update claims data for single and multi-party workers’ compensation claims.
  • •Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and applying applicable law and negligence principles.
  • •Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable coverage and whether the loss falls within coverage.
  • •Develop case strategy and case evaluation to drive timely claim resolution; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • •Establish timely reserves and review throughout the claims cycle within authority limits; assess damages and negotiate settlements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years’ experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management, OR a Juris Doctor and 2+ years’ experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management.
  • •Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
  • •Must have Jurisdiction expertise handling state of Nevada.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
