Job Summary

Lead the analysis and preparation of multiple financial reports, including statutory and management reporting packs, project profitability analysis, and variance explanations versus forecasts. Oversee compliance deliverables for governmental/regulatory reporting, ensure timely balance sheet and cash flow statement preparation, and liaise with auditors. Drive formal processes for information gathering from business units, strengthen internal financial controls, and support financial modeling and reporting tools for forecasting and business opportunity identification.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the analysis and preparation of several financial reports and ensure distribution/presentation to stakeholders.
•Review and analyze financial reports, including statutory fiscal reports, management accounting packs, project profitability analysis, and variance reports.
•Oversee compliance efforts for preparation, review, submission, and distribution of financial reports required by governmental and regulatory agencies.
•Ensure timely preparation and review of monthly/quarterly balance sheet statements, cash flow statements, and materials required for investor relations and internal management.
•Manage formal processes for obtaining and analyzing information from internal business units, and liaise with auditors as part of financial reporting processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or related field (preferred).
•Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (preferred).
•Extended experience creating and reviewing financial reports, including month-end and year-end reporting.
•Extended experience planning, controlling, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
•Extended experience managing people (hiring, developing, motivating, directing) and using financial reporting software to produce reports.
