Key Responsibilities

•Develop price elasticity models and dynamic pricing algorithms to optimize prices in near-real-time across SKU-category-location levels
•Create promotion ROI and planning models to maximize ROI under budget constraints and minimize cannibalization
•Architect ML systems for pricing/promo products and translate business requirements into technical approaches
•Mentor mid-level data scientists and conduct code reviews, while maintaining high standards for code quality and documentation
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present model results to executives with clear data-driven recommendations

Key Requirements

•MS or PhD in a quantitative field or a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of applied data science experience
•Expert-level Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, scipy) with production-quality coding
•Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, optimization) on large datasets
•Strong foundation in statistics and econometrics (regression, hypothesis testing, causal inference, time series)
•Hands-on experience deploying price optimization models in production environments and ML systems in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
