Job Summary

Join Samsung Austin Semiconductor as an EH&S Equipment Sign‑Off Engineer responsible for embedding safety and environmental considerations into equipment qualification for semiconductor tooling. You will lead hazard analyses, validate interlock and emergency-stop functions, develop qualification plans, and deliver comprehensive EHS sign-off packages to ensure tool readiness for production while complying with OSHA/EPA/SEMI standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop comprehensive qualification plans for new, retrofitted, or upgraded tools.
•Verify functional, performance, and reliability testing; capture and document results.
•Oversee the creation and maintenance of Equipment Qualification files and RTP dossiers for production release.
•Liaise with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
•Participate in design-review meetings and provide equipment-specific feedback early in the development cycle.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, Engineering or Risk Management.
•6+ years’ experience required.
•Professional certifications such as CSP, CRSP, CIH or CRM.
•Experience with large scale construction projects, commissioning, and equipment inspection QA/QC strongly preferred.
•2+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment qualification, equipment engineering, or process integration preferred.
