Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate and promote equity investment ideas to internal and external audiences, maintaining coverage of existing themes and developing new ones.
  • •Align recommendations to HSBC Private Bank’s strategic views, using Global Investment Committee frameworks and producing bespoke ideas for UHNW clients.
  • •Deliver high-quality company analysis and communicate insights clearly to audiences with varying investment sophistication.
  • •Help lead the build-out of the Equity Advisory program, collaborating with Relationship Managers and Investment Counselors to design portfolios and support continuous risk monitoring.
  • •Contribute to the House View by connecting bottom-up stock work to top-down sector/style/macro factors, incorporating ESG considerations, and producing polished client materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in global equity markets, with Private Banking Advisory/Product Specialist experience preferred.
  • •Degree in Finance or Economics.
  • •Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) required, with a contingency possibility mentioned.
  • •Advanced skills in Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint (strong Microsoft Office capability).
