Job Summary

Own the development and implementation of NC programs and associated manufacturing processes for forged blade machining. Support production through shop-ready program execution, shop support, standard work creation, and postprocessor development. Program airfoils, roots, and spindles across alloys (including Inconel, titanium, and aluminum), participate in NPI projects, and drive process improvements to reduce lead time while improving cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement NC programs and associated manufacturing processes using machine tools, controls, and programming software.
•Own programs through implementation into production and provide shop support throughout the development and production cycle.
•Write standard work and help develop postprocessors for machines.
•Program airfoils, roots, and/or spindles for components made from alloys including Inconel, titanium, and aluminum.
•Drive NPI and process improvement projects to reduce lead time and improve product cost and quality.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of engineering/manufacturing operations experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years in a related engineering/manufacturing operations environment.
•Demonstrated experience with graphic programming, part modeling, and program simulation software, including NX and Vericut.
•Ability to utilize process monitoring software.
•Experience programming and implementing manufacturing programs into production environments.
•Experience with rotating hardware, airfoils, and continuous improvement projects (preferred).
