Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for performance and reliability issues in Spark, SQL, Delta, Streaming, and Databricks runtime features.
  • •Develop continuous monitoring requirements with R&D and NOC teams to detect early performance issues in DNB customer environments.
  • •Build rapid POCs and test/deploy/monitor solutions produced by Databricks Engineering to address customer challenges and demonstrate Spark/ML/AI runtime capabilities.
  • •Create comprehensive playbooks and maintain a knowledge base for common Spark, ML, and AI workflow issues and solutions.
  • •Train customer teams on performance tuning and debugging best practices, collaborate onsite with Field Engineering/Sales/Product during engagements, and advocate for customers in business review meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •8–12 years building and troubleshooting distributed computing applications; 4+ years delivering production-scale Spark/ML/AI solutions using Python, Java, or Scala.
  • •Hands-on expertise in data engineering, including data lakes, SQL-based databases, and cloud data warehousing/ETL tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
  • •Deep knowledge of Spark core internals, Delta/Iceberg, JVM optimization, and memory management, plus proficiency in ML, deep learning, and generative AI ecosystems.
  • •Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including building and managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting.
  • •3–5 years in customer-facing technical roles (e.g., Technical Account Manager or Solutions Architect) with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
