Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing pump, power, and HVAC equipment in the shop and at customer locations.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors (when required travel).
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures and handle repairs, working individually or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts, plus training lower-level technicians when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to travel weekly to support business needs and perform preventive maintenance and repairs at customer job sites when required.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read/know schematics.
  • •Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; high school diploma, trade school certificate preferred.
