Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted, and manage skids and equipment returns.
  • •Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork (including bills of lading) and deliver required documentation when routes are complete.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight operated.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing per federal/state DOT regulations.
  • •Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills when speaking professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
