Job Summary

Deliver heavy equipment to customers safely and on schedule while operating a vehicle in line with state and federal transportation laws. Handle loading and unloading with appropriate signals and specialized equipment, maintain shipping documentation (invoices and bills of lading), and support yard organization for efficient loading patterns. Perform routine truck service tasks as needed and report maintenance issues. Work Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and potential on-call scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted, and manage skids and equipment returns.
•Maintain signed invoices and shipping paperwork (including bills of lading) and deliver required documentation when routes are complete.

Key Requirements

•Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight operated.
•Pass required background and drug testing per federal/state DOT regulations.
•Pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
•Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills when speaking professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
