Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage delivery of all Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 (2023–2032) transportation projects.
  • •Lead weekly coordination meetings with GDOT, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • •Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • •Track GDOT-let design and construction projects, and coordinate locally let projects with local governments.
  • •Serve as a primary liaison, facilitate issue resolution, and oversee work phases from initiation through closeout; develop/review resurfacing bid packages and approve invoices for compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or a related field plus 4 years of roadway construction, transportation project management, maintenance, or related experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites and clients; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Experience coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.
  • •Organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • •Preferred: GDOT roadway construction/maintenance or transportation program management experience, including resurfacing bid package development/review and familiarity with TIA projects; PE license or PMP certification is a plus.
