Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage monthly location book closures for 10–20 US Transformation locations and Transformation HQ in line with Alcoa closing standards.
  • •Conduct monthly P/L and balance sheet variance analysis and complete timely account reconciliations and accruals.
  • •Complete monthly forecasting for 10–20 US Transformation locations, including meetings with location managers and documenting forecast variances.
  • •Coordinate and analyze the annual planning process for the Global Transformation organization and ensure annual plans for 10–20 locations and HQ.
  • •Lead corporate office financial closing/forecasting/reporting and support environmental reserve liability reporting, including monthly/quarterly/annual rollforwards and reserve project tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of financial accounting experience.
  • •CPA preferred.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • •Experience with Oracle, Orbit, and Connected Planning preferred.
  • •Experience with Asset Retirement Obligations, Environmental Reserves, and closure estimating is a plus.
