Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling to patients with severe mental illness.
  • •Conduct assessments to identify health and behavioral needs and create individualized coaching plans.
  • •Implement behavior-change strategies, address barriers, and adjust plans based on patient progress.
  • •Support dietary and nutrition-led interventions in partnership with dietitians/nutritionists.
  • •Lead daily and weekly group activities that promote light movement, physical wellness, and healthy routines.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, working with complex patient populations, preferably in the mental health space.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an ACEND-accredited program, with current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • •Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • •Solid understanding of basic workplace technology and interest in using technology to improve patient outcomes
  • •Experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling and coordinating care as part of an interdisciplinary team
