Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and optimize gas turbine systems for life, weight, manufacturability, and cost.
  • •Execute thermo-mechanical simulations across design, off-design, and far off-design conditions to ensure safety and operability.
  • •Conduct creep, fatigue, and fracture assessments for structural integrity.
  • •Perform vibration and rotodynamic analysis, and run FMECA to support safety and operability assessments.
  • •Review designs and simulations, generate testing guidelines, identify project risks, and plan mitigations while developing junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering degree (or related field).
  • •Strong background in gas turbine propulsion and mechanical design/integrity/heat transfer.
  • •Experience performing whole-engine structural analysis and clearance assessments (plus).
  • •Experience with vibration/rotodynamic analysis and bearing performance assessment (plus).
  • •5+ years of experience and fluent English; ability to use analysis tools such as Solidworks/Siemens NX and perform FEA with Ansys/Nastran (or equivalent).
