Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure development sample quality and milestone dates by maintaining and tracking commercialization timelines and reporting needs
  • •Coordinate T2 activities at assigned factories to drive productivity, consistent product quality, product integrity, and performance to brand policies and best practices
  • •Manage development activities across prototype/line close/salesman samples/tech confirmations and SMU requests with Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors, including inspection and testing readiness
  • •Communicate product/performance requirements to vendors, solve issues across construction/performance/costing/process/SOP sequences, and support fit/wear testing and acceptance checks
  • •Plan buy-ready by SKU, coordinate factory capacity and material purchasing to calendar milestones, and propose cost-savings/efficiency/automation and quality improvements

Key Requirements

  • •PD/commercialization, pre-production, and production experience in footwear or a related field with a multinational company
  • •Deep technical understanding of footwear categories/constructions and material physical properties
  • •Must have branded footwear experience and be able to establish and maintain relationships with partner factories and cross-functional VF teams
  • •Ability to identify product quality and integrity risks and provide recommendations for CAP
  • •Good command of English and excellent communication skills with strong computer skills in a Windows (Office/Word/Excel) environment
