Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide subject-matter expert support on NY Medicaid billing and enrollment practices, including claim resolution support.
  • •Deliver technical training to NY Medicaid Providers on eMedNY billing, enrollment, and program requirements.
  • •Respond to provider community inquiries via non-routine customer calls, email, and web requests as a single point of contact.
  • •Support system and program changes for the NY Medicaid provider community and provide feedback on provider challenges and trends.
  • •Develop training and content materials, present at provider association meetings, and provide testimony for Medicaid fraud legal proceedings.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS degree plus 2+ years’ related experience, or 5+ years’ experience, or equivalent.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.

  • •Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a group.
  • •Preferred: healthcare billing and claims experience; teaching/training experience; experience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
