Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn general agronomy skills including scouting, crop protection, crop nutrients, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, and product delivery.
  • •Perform agronomy and seed operations.
  • •Monitor and maintain quality of inventory, including regulatory and periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping.
  • •Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment (e.g., legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, trucks).
  • •Provide customer service and assist customers, while maintaining compliance with state, local, and CHS environmental and safety policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture-related degree program.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
  • •Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
  • •Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
  • •CDL license preferred and forklift certification preferred.
