Seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead the accounting function, ensure accurate financial reporting, implement policies and controls, manage external relations with auditors and regulators, and drive process improvements while supporting safety and IMS policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and manage the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
•Supervise and provide leadership to accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, to maintain productivity and professionalism.
•Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
•Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) for management and stakeholders.
•Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Accounting
•CPA certification
•Minimum 8 years of working experience with 5 years in a relevant role; GCC experience a plus
•Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
•Proficiency in ERP systems, SAP in particular, and accounting software
