Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with CG and Generative AI experts to develop unique content for animated shorts and specials using GenAI-native pipelines.
  • •Work with creative leadership to shape storytelling and visual aesthetics that meet feature-quality standards.
  • •Create shot-ready assets (characters, props, environments) using generative tools alongside traditional DCCs.
  • •Generate concept frames, style frames, character explorations, and environment designs from scripts, outlines, or verbal direction using GenAI tools like ComfyUI.
  • •Experiment with and compare generative tools/workflows, document results, and recommend best practices while helping develop GenAI/traditional hybrid workflows with production and technology teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with ComfyUI and traditional CG 2D and/or 3D DCCs (Photoshop, Maya, Houdini, Harmony, and/or Blender).
  • •Experience creating and animating assets (terrains, layout, characters, control-rigs, lighting) within Unreal Engine.
  • •Strong conceptual understanding of diffusion-based rendering and animation techniques; experience training image LoRAs/video LoRAs is a plus.
  • •Ability to develop character and visual designs aligned with desired style and sensibility (personality, mood, tone).
  • •Strong collaboration skills and a portfolio demonstrating compelling narratives created using AI tools for storytelling and animation.
