Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble, fit, and mount sub-assemblies and standard fixed assemblies in electrical control equipment to spec.
  • •Perform assembly tasks required for test preparation and final inspection, including power checking to verify electrical/mechanical integrity.
  • •Assemble panelboards and/or switchboards to customer specifications using electrical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and work instructions.
  • •Inspect and test finished products to maintain quality standards and ensure conformance with specifications and codes.
  • •Maintain job progress, communicate issues (e.g., part shortages), handle materials/put-away, and support Lean and 5S initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum one year of experience in an assembly-related role using hand and/or power tools, or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma from an accredited institution.
  • •Experience with wiring diagrams/schematics and power flow to install correct wires.
  • •Experience with measuring tools, torque tolerance, and hardware assembly.
  • •Ability to follow manufacturing drawings and instructions.
  • •Lift 35 lbs. on a regular basis and be able to work overtime as required.
