Key Responsibilities

  • •Calibrate production and testing equipment and run moisture tests.
  • •Sample and test raw materials for specification compliance and perform QC tests (entrained air content, slump/workability, coarseness/sandiness, yield, setting time, water-cement ratio, and strength).
  • •Record and report test results to dispatch and batch personnel, using results to make mix adjustments.
  • •Troubleshoot fresh and hardened concrete problems and understand the batching system across plants.
  • •Maintain testing equipment and labs, transport and process test cylinders, and assist with trial batches and aggregate gradation testing.
