Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials and unload empty skids; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and deliver documentation to the shipping office when routes are complete.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical, since trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
