Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver all aspects of cost management from inception to completion, including feasibility, cost planning, procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, cost reporting and final accounts.
  • •Maintain high professional standards in dealings with clients and contacts to reinforce the firm’s profile.
  • •Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and use of performance management processes.
  • •Maintain and develop good client relationships and uphold the firm’s profile as a premium provider to the construction industry.
  • •Support junior staff on technically complex projects and help develop marketing opportunities for new business.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
  • •Accredited MRICS (or working towards membership).
  • •Experience in the Cost Management/Quantity Surveying field, ideally working on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • •Good working knowledge of NEC4 suite of contracts, particularly the PSC and ECC.
  • •Experience in infrastructure environments, ideally focused on water and/or environment sectors, with cost/commercial management in multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
