Job Summary

Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently, including loaders, back hoes, track hoes, haul trucks, water trucks, and similar machines. Ensure excavation safety with proper slopes and barricading, locate utilities and buried lines before digging, and perform minor servicing or escalate major issues. Maintain time and material records and apply knowledge of trenching/shoring, aggregates, and load weight requirements, while traveling between job sites as needed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required; one to two years of related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).

•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
