Job Summary

Lead procurement and contract management for major submarine subcontract within the ICPDS team. Drive supplier strategies, risk management, and value delivery across People, Process, Technology and Governance. Collaborate with Engineering and Project Delivery to influence supplier direction, negotiate terms, and ensure performance, while embedding in an IPT to translate complex requirements into reliable sourcing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead procurement and contract management activities for major subcontracts, including all commercial and cost matters.
•Collaborate with Supplier, Engineering and Project Delivery Team stakeholders to influence supplier direction, formulate procurement strategies, negotiate terms, and administer contract performance.
•Provide expert advice on sourcing feasibility, risk mitigation, cost efficiency, and manufacturability while championing emerging technologies and capability development.
•Communicate procurement and supply chain activities to cross-functional and external stakeholders regarding performance, threats and failures.
•Manage supplier relationships, promoting strategic and collaborative behaviours across the organisation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 47,271 annually

Key Requirements

•Supply Chain, Procurement or Commercial experience within major subcontracts with a strong understanding of engineering and project management.
•Proven experience maintaining strategic supplier relationships and engaging partners early in solution lifecycle to drive collaboration and long-term value.
•Detailed understanding and experience of supplier risk and opportunity coordination.
•Negotiation and influencing skills with experience negotiating price and contractual terms and conditions.
•Ability to compile data, interpret and propose recommendations through reports and presentations.
