Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, automate, deploy, and support a modern, AWS-based cloud architecture for a mission-critical data exchange platform transitioning from a legacy mainframe environment.
  • •Manage and maintain a workflow engine that transforms and routes data between internal Allianz systems and external partners.
  • •Implement and run robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to improve deployment speed and reliability.
  • •Orchestrate and support the AWS environment, including Kubernetes and PostgreSQL, and perform network management.
  • •Serve as a technical owner for operational issues by coordinating with developers and external clients, and ensure solutions meet Allianz information security and compliance standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to work in both English and German (at least B2), including direct contact with German-speaking stakeholders and clients.
  • •Strong AWS experience, including Aurora, VPC, EC2/EKS (Kubernetes), S3, SQS, SNS, and RDS, plus proven Terraform experience for cloud environments.
  • •Advanced hands-on experience with Docker, Helm, Git, Java (>21), Spring Boot, and GitHub Actions (Argo-Workflows optional).
  • •Strong understanding of Java and Spring Boot for troubleshooting and optimizing backend microservices, ideally using Dynatrace.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics and Informatics, or a related field, with an ops-focused ownership mindset.
